I own several nice high end heads and an AXEFX-II so I've never really looked at buying an amp for quite sometime.
But recently I've been jonesing for a nice combo to keep in my Man Cave when I want to play and not have to down into my basement studio. I've always checked the videos on line and liked how they sounded then a friend of mine picked up one of the HT Stage 40 Limited Edicions.
Cranked it up and was really impressed not a bad sounding combo at all for 800.00
Well got an email from our local music center up here Alto Music that they had a new run come in all black with a wheat grill and they were on limited special for 499.00. Jumped all over it. All I can say is Blackstar got it right. Great product for a great price. Would proudly gig with this amp. Great cleans enough gains for every type of music just add a delay pedal and it's all you pretty much need for a great simple but killer sounding gig rig.
