I split my Blackstar HT Club 40 combo into a separate head and cabinet. I then paired the head with a Peavey 6505(R) slant 4x12 cabinet. This is the 16 ohm version loaded with Celestion Vintage 30's. I'm running an Ibanez Tube Screamer, and a Boss NS-2. My guitars are both Jackson DKMG's. EMG 81 and 85 pickups with the positions swapped on each of them. This setup creates an excellent tone for any "core" genre of metal. It does the Brutals, it does Djent, and the cleans are still amazing. Blackstar is still a sleeper in the modern metal community and I am more than happy to spread the word. The HT series of amps are truly exceptional for their price point and a few higher. Please comment and let me know what you think.

i do agree with you
i am a blues/rock player, i swapped v1 for a high gain JJ and v2 for a mesa boogie ecc81, so i can play on the clean channel Hendrix cleans and on the drice channel i can play Hendrix cleans with a boost.
