Knob settings: 1-10 or clock positions?

Everyone please chime in on whether you use the 1-10 (1 being all the way counter clockwise) or the clock method with the pointer in direction of number like 10 o'clock. I've seen settings posted both ways.

Which knob are you talking about. There are 15 of them on the HT-60. I have great crystal clear clean settings. but when it comes to setting my overdrive channels, I am struggling. Seem like I can't repeat successful settings.

Blackstars HT's don't have numbers to refer to other than 0 or 10 so I use clock references. My Fenders have numbers on the knobs and so I use the number as a reference.
Interesting, I never gave it much thought 'til you asked :|
