Hi,
I just bought myself a blackstar HT-20 and I am a beginner.
Can anyone post me some suggested settings to get a good overdrive/distortion sound.
Thanks
HT-20 settings
Good starting point is put everything at 12 o'clock and go from there (A little more specifically, the actual "rule" of sorts is to have highs/mids/lows at 2 o'clock to start).
I like ISF straight up and things move a bit from the aforementioned start point, PLUS the instrument you're using/sound you're going for will determine the settings you end up with.
Some have posted their settings with descriptors which may be of use as well.
And, welcome on. Great forum, and the HT20's a great amp. You'll be really happy with it.

Not sure about HT20-Specific. SEEMS like there have been a few, but could be wrong. But, below are a few for the 40/60 (There are more around).

Just got my HT-20 about three weeks ago. Like anything else you have to play around with it to find the sound you are looking for, which is part of the fun. Equipment definitely makes a huge difference. I have a Schecter Solo 6 with Seymour Duncan pickups and a Schecter Hellraiser with EMGs. As you can imagine, quite a difference in sound between the two. Bottom line, it is an awesome amplifier!
