Strat sound through the Series 1 100 watt

Has anyone out there got the 'Hendrix' sound EQ'ed up through the Series One 100 watt head unsing a standard Strat ? I'm having a bit of trouble getting it right. Using the warm/clean channel with a bit of reverb and delay from T-Rex stompers through the FX loop. Any suggestion would be welcome appart from sod off you old git !
