Good metal setting for HT Dual Please!!!

Hi. I recently got the Blackstar HT-Dual pedal. I can get beautiful clean and crunch settings from it. I can't for the life of me however get a decent metal tone from channel 2.

Whatever I do with the EQ or ISF it just sounds too fat and blunt. I can get a Sabbath tone but heavier metal tones are out of the question. This is frustrating because I paid £170 for the pedal and was told it was excellent for metal.

It might be my amp though. I use a 60w Peavey Studio pro 112 Transtube. The clean setting on the amp however is quite crystal though and I was able to get a satisfactory metal sound with my cheap Digitech distortion factory pedal so I don't know.
Can someone please help me with this? Does anyone have any suggestions for solutions or for Eq settings?
