volume boost

Hi guys hope this is a simple one for you....
I need a transparent (ish) volume boost for lead work on my ht 60 stage. I use od 1 100% of the time for rhythm. Should I just put an eq pedal in the loop or would you recommend switching between od1 and od2???

Typical sound I go for is probably sambora new jersey/slippery era.

Yea a EQ will do even a comp. My choice would be multi effects pedal. I have the boss GT 100 you still use or tube amp and pre amp its the way to go, I suppose other pedals will also do as long as the pedal as the send return feature.

You can use a variety of things...EQ (i.e. MXR works well), clean boost (i.e. RC Booster), transparent OD (i.e. Timmy), transparent compressor (i.e. Mirage, Love Squeeze) and/or (of course) a volume pedal.

Lots of choices depending on your wallet and preferences.

If you use OD1/OD2, you'd have to match them pretty well (gain-wise).
