Can't connect Blackstar Midi Controller to app

I'm not able to get the Midi Controller App to recognize the Blackstar Midi Controller footswitch. Whenever I connect it via USB it shows a "Device Disconnected" message, both when I plug it in and power it on, and when I unplug it. If I try and send values from the app to the device, I get a "Unable to load data to device without connecting device" message.

Yeah, I am having the same problem ie. the "Unable to load data to device without connecting device" message. This occurs when I try to send or read values from the BLL. The device is powered from my computer so is connected. I just upgraded my computer and am using OSX Ventura 13.4.1. I've tried different cables, ports, hubs, etc. I really need to be able to switch my templates. Is there ever going to be an upgrade to the software editor to address this?
