Hi all, I live in the States (Texas) and have pre-ordered an ID30... It has been on order for about 3 weeks, with and original 3-4 week ship time... Now my supplier is telling me "maybe" by end of March... I have called around and it have been told by a few stores that end of March would be pretty optimistic. Most likely much later.

I am an intermediate player who only will be using an amp at home... I like the versatility of this series. I could go ahead and Get the ID 60, which is readily available, but think that it may be overkill....

I am pretty anxious to be getting one of these, but don't know if I should wait on the ID30, or pull the trigger on the ID60.... I am trying hard to wait, but everyday, there is a little voice in my head that says "go ahead and get the ID60!!"

So a question is.... will I be able to play the ID60 at low volumes and still get the sounds I am expecting from this amp?

Does anyone in the UK have any insight on the ship dates?

I plan to call Korg tomorrow in the states to ask about it, but they are closed for holiday today.

Cheers!

Hi
I like you was wanting to id 30 but decided to go for the id60, I'm glad I did
As plenty loud enough to use in any situation and you don't get the mid control or the presence and resonance control on the id30 although you can access the mid from the insider software.
So id go for the id60 as it can be played at low volume just same as the id30. I'm in the UK and its the end of March as well before we shall see the id30 in stock

I did the same thing. I wanted the 30 but got the 60 and I am very happy with it. I do use the presence and resonance controls to tweak for the room. As to volume, I can play pretty low and get great tone. I love having the ability to crank it up to gigging levels as well.

Same here, again the extra controls on the ID60 do indeed make it worthwhile having. Great amp, not so sold on the computer back end functionality just yet.
