Hi,

I have a "2-cable solution" for this issue. (USB & audio cable) - I am using Windows 10

- plugin the USB and connect the Amp with your PC

- go to your Windows sound settings (Playback settings) and deactivate ID Series. As soon as the amp is linked to your PC the ID Series is set as default for the playback settings. Set Speaker/Headphone as your new default.

- plugin an audio cable to your headphone out of your PC and connect the cable to your amp (mp3 / line in)

This should solve the USB Audio issue.

Now your USB cable controls your amp with Insiders software and the audio cable is playing the backingtracks through your amp.

Cheers

Hi Friends,
First of all, sorry about my english :)

I had same problem with my id: core 40w at Windows 7 64 Bit. I solve this with very easy way.

First, right click on Blackstar Insider icon on desktop and click on properties.
Then, select the Compatibility tab.Select Compatibility mode and choose "Windows Xp Service Pack 2".
Then press "Apply" Button and "OK" button.
Open the Blackstar Insider program and test it. If still audio come from computers speakers check Windows audio "playback device" . Select Blackstar audio as default audio device.
This progress should solve the problem.
