turn on fx loop?

got a new id 30
installed insider
was prompted to update firmware

did, works great

do not see anywhere in insider to turn on fx loop

please tell me where it is hidden thanks

Top right corner of software. Looks like a gear.
Click it. It will give you the controls over the noise gate and also the ability to turn the FX loop
on and off.

i found the setting cog no prob
no fx loop option at all

Download newest version of Insider software then.
uninstall the version you have because it is obviously not updated

The ID15 and ID30 both don't have an effects loop as far as i know. Only the ID60 and higher have that possibility. See page 16 of the Insider handbook which you can download from this site.

i have the latest version of insider and latest firmware. no option for fx loop at all.

does any 30 owner have the loop?

FX Loop is not available on the ID:30

boy that really sucks. i loop constantly and cant use my looper with the 30. i had no idea that the 30 firmware wouldnt creat a virtual loop

Well that information is available, i have read that before I bought the amp. Sorry to say, but you should have checked before buying this amp!

i scoured the 'net, the forums and blackstar site and found NOTHING telling me the 30 would not have a loop after the upgrade.

i called bs and they told me the firmware would give me the fx loop.
called back, got another bs employee, he said no.

searched this forum and found NOTHING till i posted the question.
so, i did an in depth search and came up with zip.
