Can I ask what your looping?
It already has every time based effect that I can think of?
Outside of a boost, which you can pretty much do with patch volume changes.
I am saying this because I bought a Midi Raider for simplicity and set all my top buttons to control effects,
I ended up ditching most of my time based effects because they sound pretty good to me out of the amp?
turn on fx loop?
I'm no amp tech but I got my hopes up a bit when I read those words: "Firmware update", only to be disappointed, so is this simply down to the 1/8" mp3/line in and phones connectors on the 15 and 30 models, whilst the 60 and higher have 1/4" connectors on the back?
I have to say that the 15 would be a great product for me at just the right price, except for the lack of an fx loop. I have a ditto pedal.

Hello otter5555 and sinbaadi,
I don't use fx loop on the ID 30, but could imagine, that it works, if you disable the mark on
"mp3/line in into emulated out" in order to prevent a feedback.
You'll need an adapter for 1/8 stereo to 1/4 mono, going from the eo/headphones into the looper and back into the mp3/line in. This one should only go into the power amp then.
Did you give that a try?
