Not sure where you are geographically, but Guitar Center (music store in the US) and some other places will let you return most things within 30 days, if you don't do it all the time. If there's a store like that near enough to you, or you buy it on the net from them and don't mind paying to ship it back (amps are relatively heavy), you could check it out in your real life situations. You'd need to take very good care of it while you did that though.

I tried the 60w head, just one question

Can I run it through a 2x12 cabinet loaded with vintage 30's? What about the ohms? I'm really doubtful :(

load must be 4oms or greater, so if your 2x12 is greater then or equal to 4om you are good.

Correct. It's 4 ohms minimum. And, I highly doubt any cabinet will be less than 4 ohms. You'll be fine.

I own an ID260 and from my experience volume has never been an issue.
It's plenty loud.
More than enough for any average gig.

Hey guys, I had a chance to test my ID260 with my 250 pound loud drummer. I had no problem whatsoever keeping up. the only recommendation I would have is to set up 2 - 3 channels (per bank) and have 1 - 2 channels (per bank) at slightly louder volumes for your solos. Managing an optimum midrange level is also very key in cutting through the mix.

Buenos suerte y tenga un buen dia!

excuse me... I meant to say in my post to set up 2 - 3 channels (per bank) for rythm and 1 - 2 channels (per bank) for leads.... I just wanted to clarify.

Otherwise, everyone said this amp sounded terrific and they would rather hear this amp than my Marshall half-stack JCM200/DSL100 with $600 dollars worth of botique pedals. This amp also cut out a LOT of tap dancing with my pedal-board.

Well, I managed to get a friend of mine that has the ID60, and it totally bought me.

I'm really getting this amp, and amongst all, it matched power with the SpiderValve and my extremely loud-but-triggered drummer!

Thanks for all your help guys, I'm really thankful

Hey Space. Could you do a shootout of different metal tones for me with every single tvp. I know their are some on youtube but I love hearing different versions. I got one on the way myself, wont be here until Tuesday.. Im glad you decided to get one because it matched your budget, your tone, and yeah they definitely have plenty of headroom for gigging small places.

I just want a metal tone for the OD2 channel on each valve, off first, then switch it on to here the break up difference. If you could do that man that would be awesome!

Thanks.

and again enjoy dude!
