Why not mention Line 6? Because (unlike Blackstar) they have a history of actually listening to their customers and updating their products to respond to reported problems?

Version 1.4 is now released... please go to www.blackstarinsider.co.uk and download the latest version of the software. Also review the release notes to find out improvements. Further updates are continually being worked on to improve bugs and functionality of the software as well as making it compatible with the new ID:Core range of amplifiers.

When I tried to install 1.4, it told me a newer version was already installed. Vista 32-bit

I had to uninstall the old version, clean my registry, reboot my laptop, then it finally installed 1.4.
