It's not working for me either. I get the message that I've already got a newer(?) version installed (1.3.0.1). It refuses to install due to that error. I tried both the .exe and .zip files. Windows Vista 32-bit

Ok, so this is just an update of the Insider software, right ?
Or is it also a firmware update for the amp ?

For those two things, Voicing improvements to the ID:15TVP and ID:30TVP and Preamp improvements.
You need a firmware update for that, yes ? What are those improvements anyway, very vague.
Voicing = Clean, crunch, OD1 etc... ? Those are examples of changes to the amp and not just to the software.
How can I verify those improvements, better quality of sound maybe ?

So if you have answers to my questions, go for it. ;)

Hi,
it is an update to Insider and firmware for amp. I had to download the exe and then install, it then asks for restart and when you connect the amp updates the firmware.
Not sure about how the fixes have gone for others but Tuner seems a bit better; but think I will stick to my polytone for now.

After following Kalseru's lead and uninstalling the old software, cleaning the registry and rebooting the computer, I was able to get the new Insider software to install. Thanks!

Software install and amp update completed without any problems.
I haven't had a chance to spend any time with it yet but I am glad this went smoothly.
