I am looking to find or create a list of Different amps and what tubes they use. I am not familiar with all the different tubes that the ID can emulate and think this would help me (maybe others too) dial in the tones i am looking for.

If you have a list or can point me in the direction of one, i would appreciate it. If there is not one created, i can create one and share it if there is interest.

Or if anyone has other tips i am open to those as well!

Thanks!

When I was Amp shoppin, I watched alotta KT 88 vrs EL 34 vrs 6L6 and 6V6 videos and got a general idea...Not many KT66 or EL 84 amps being demoed though... Bout the time I think I have this ID:60 figured out, She throws me a curve and has me endin up with some odd configs to store.. I tried to trick Her by EQing and gain/FX changing a KT88 to sound like an EL 34 and vice versa but She aint havin it!!!. Yeah it would be great just see an over all listing in general. 8-)

Cool, hadn't seen that, and I had wondered about this.

The filtering stuff (radios and buttons) doesn't seem to work for me though. Can still see the info.

For anyone interested, i took what was on that link and made it a bit easier. You should be able to search and stuff as well. This is in Google Docs:

https://drive.google.com/folderview?id= ... sp=sharing

There are obviously a lot of great amps missing from this list (no Mesa's ANYWHERE). Anyone that can contribute to this list can either request access to edit from me, or PM me a list of what they know and i will add it. I will be adding more as i find them so check back if you like.

Hope this helps someone.

Cool, thanks. Not sure what's up with that original page, haven't had time to diagnose it (I'm a web dev professionally), but it kind of seems like they need a bit of help...

BTW, on your sheet "Blackheart" is misspelled I think (:-)

fixed blackheart. thanks.

Also, for anyone interested, i found this website where you can buy tube packages based on the amp you select. Will be a good tool and i will be using it to complete my list more.
