I could not find anything about it on the forum.
I got the screen for the new version when I opened my Insider software.

Anybody installed it yet ? I am a little afraid, a new version sometimes means problems.
I will stick with the 1.6.2 until I know it is safe to install 1.7. 8-)

All it adds is connectivity for the new BEAM amps.

Thanks myk.robinson

I read about it. Every time I start Insider, I get a message for the 1.7, very annoying.
Anybody here with a TVP ID installed the new version, 1.7 ?
To stop this, no choice but to install the new version. They were suppose to fix bugs !?!
They are launching a lot of new products but they're not fixing the problems in Insider.

One day maybe...

Yup! I guess they are no longer interested in ID:series Customers.... Bad news, most are no longer interested in Blackstar either. They promised a major update to solve the noise-gate/damping/patches issues, but nothing comes. So I'm stuck with my ID, but next will be another brand for sure. PhD

I am with you on that one PhD... 8-)
I use to have a pretty good email connection with somebody from Blackstar and now...
My emails they don't even reach them anymore, they come back to my inbox, so...

You are right about that! I will never buy another Blackstar. I recently bought a Line 6 DT25, and while it is much harder to learn how to use and much more expensive, I can actually get a good slightly dirty sound with no violin effect.

I'm done bitching about B*
I smile every time I play through it so enough whining, more playing.

Does anyone know a way to save a patch with the correct selections? Everytime I save, the effects go back to room reverb, phaser and linear delay, the tube type is EL84 and all tone knobs are at 5, as well as ISF, regardless of what effect I tried to save to the patch.
