I am having huge problems trying to save patches via the footswitch. Following the instructions in the manual is a waste of time, it just doesn't work. Can anyone post exactly how to do it please?

I did , but still can't get it to work. I keep having to press goodness knows how many times etc.and it is a hit or a miss if it saves. Nine out of 10 it is a miss. Press pedal 1 first, hold pedal i first etc. etc.

Ha ha. My 12 patches are complete with my fender/ vox and marshall settings but I have been messing around with the 6v6 sounds and came across a fantastic sound, went to save it.....poof, gone !

Hey!

Took me alittle while to get my "system" of storing patches to work...Heres some audio describing my steps and some helpful hints/do's and dont's etc that I operate by..

Hope this helps!!!

OH , BTW, toward the end , Im talkin about going from an already stored patch 128, back down to now to "live" at new location 1 and forgot to mention that the first "quick" hit of switch #1 puts in "ready" mode (location lights blinking) THEN...Another quick hit, stores it..It'll make since once you've listen to the file.

I gave up on the FS-10 after having it the 1st week. Way too much trouble to save a patch, plus it would do squirrely things on it's on.

Whole lot simpler with a midi controller. CC119, one button push saves everything simple as beans.....

Hi.I stop using fs10 while ago
Now I am using cheap fender mustang floor as midi controller(paid £ 55 on eBay)
I just setup volume controller switch to midi CC ,, save patch,, and working perfect.
So now I can adjust ,make correction and save patch above 12 on fly during gig
And I have five patch in one bank (4 in fs10) so is bonus.
My guitar going straight to amp input
Fender mustang floor is on loop so I have volume control ,Better!!! Tuner. All amp simulation on mustang floor is disabled, sometimes I use delays, and few modulations from mustang pre programmed per patch.
Perfect solution.
And I have buck up in case I'd 260 fail. Fender mustang floor sound good straight to power amp or mixing desk
Perfect

THANK YOU. the Kidd !
Instructions are perfectly clear and works like a charm. Going into Nav mode to save is not on the instructions hence making life difficult for us by Blackstar...again !
