Can I run the power supply with the batteries still inside the amp? Until I here different I'm pulling them out so I don't hurt this amp.

I have just called UK Blackstar support and have been told it's safe to leave batteries in with the power supply as the circuit is bypassed.

Thanks for this information. I'm an electric novice with a FLY 3.

There is also an interesting post on the compatibility of power supplies other than the relatively expensive (relative to the price of the FLY 3 at least) such as a 7V or 9V DC PS which is much easier to find and usually less than half the price. And you may well have one laying around gathering dust.

Why don't they tell us these things? ;)
