Hi Guy's,
Has anyone experienced the valve selector changing by itself while you are playing?
I have a ID30TVPand this has recently started. Sometimes it will go through all the valves and sometimes bounces between two.

Haven't checked the boards here in a long time but yesterday I was playing around with my ID60 after not using it very often with the intention of setting it up to start using it a bit more often. Going between patches was ok. Tried out some different valves and switched from KT66 to EL34 and it started bouncing between EL34 and 6v6. Not a good sign.
Hope there isn't a big problem with it.

This is the reply that I got from Blackstar.
Thank you for contacting Blackstar.
This issue is almost certainly a hardware problem. We’d recommend that you contact an authorised service centre to have this unit inspected for repair.
If the unit is in the warranty period, you could also look to contact the store you purchased the amplifier from.
Hope this helps, but if you have any issues please let us know.
As the amp has hardly been used and never gigged, I don't see how there should be a hardware problem.
I was thinking of getting the ID Core 100, but not now.
