ID:100 Firmware Update

hey, i updated my insider to the 1.8.1 or whatever it is and it's saying there's a firmware update for my ID:100 head. just wondering if anyone has done it and if and what issues did you have. been reading alot on here about updating firmware and then the amps not working.

Installed Insider 1.8.1 (Macbook Pro running El Capitan) last night, am installing 1.5.3 firmware on my ID:100 TVP head this afternoon, will test and let you know how it goes.

1.5.3 firmware installed with no issues. Amp sounds and behaves exactly the same as before. Can load and save patches from/to the Insider library just fine. YMMV, of course.

ya, i updated my amp last night, took 3 attempts because it kept freezing. on the final attempt, updated in about 5 minutes. i left the amp USB plugged in and turned on but had to restart insider 3 times. i have insider on a PC and a Mac, maybe i'll try the Mac next time.
