I'm trying to program the amp and FS 10 so that patches 1,2 and 3 are clean, crunch and dirty. All dry with no effects.
I can store these but as soon as I go back on the patch buttons.. the sounds revert to the originals... what am I doing wrong here?

you have to save the patches to amp and not just in the insider or architect folder, if you are using that.
head over to youtube there are lots of vids on id core and other blackstar amps settings saving etc.
