Hopefully there is a fix for this as it stopped me purchasing an ID Core today!
Loved the amp but then plugged in my iPhone as I want to play backing tracks through it. And to my surprise it was Too low a volume! iPhone was on max and the store guy tried holding down the tap button while adjusting the volume control but this was already on max. Tried another amp which was the same. The volume is too low to play along with, the guitar itself goes way louder.
We then tried a B.E.A.M on Bluetooth and that was way louder, however, switching that to the MP3 input gave the same low volume level.
So the units ARE capable of far louder (actual usable) volume but appears to be restricted in software/firmware?
Is there a max level only adjustable in software?
Has there bee a firmware fix?

Surely this has been addressed or there is another way the store guy wasn't aware of?

Having googled the issue it appears I am not alone noticing this
I have contacted Blackstar support who agree the whole purpose is for playing along with backing tracks. They've promised to investigate and maybe change in a firmware update.
Well done Blackstar for taking customer feedback onboard

Be good if others could post their experience with the aux in levels

Thanks

I think I've sorted this out. Apologies, but looks like it's an iPhone issue!
Just proved it on my Mustang amp anyway. iPhone 'max volume' was on...doh!

Will prove on ID Core next time in shop

Sorry guys
