Using my GT-100 boss on ID CORE 150

Hi everybody i bought a id core 150, and I am using my GT-100 BOSS,i select some patches without distortion , fuzz or overdrive and sounds great , but when I try to used distortion or some crunch patch doesn't sound very well, I try to equalize but nothing seems to work out, is anybody in the same situation?? I used the four cables method too.. Using send and return and I don't have success with the sound either.
