USB Emulated Out Not Available ID:Core 100

Trying to record via USB with ID:Core 100 and can get a signal and record but the result sounds direct. Has that flat clippy sound in the distortion. It's genuinely awful sounding even though I like the tone I dialed in when hearing it through the amp speakers.
The manual says I can choose speaker emulated out with the Insider software but I only see reamping and stereo mode settings. No emulated setting.
