I've lost my power supply and need a new one but I'm baffled.
My ID:CORE 10 V2 amp says on the back, "USE 10v / 3A POWER SUPPLY"...
Every other ID:CORE 10 V2 i can see appears to say "USE 6.5v / 3A POWER SUPPLY", eg, here:-
The power bank that can be used to power these using batteries appears to be 12v, according to specs eg here:-
https://www.mannsmusic.co.uk/amplifiers ... c-core.htm
"10,000mAh / 12VDC output"
(I can't find any details about that power bank on the Blackstar website)
So will the 12v battery pack fry the V2 amps that need 6.5v?
Can I use a 12v psu to run mine?
Why do some V2s say they need 6.5v and others say 10v?
It's all a bit confusing. Thanks to anyone who can untangle the mess!
What voltage power supply does your ID:CORE 10 or 20 need? (It says on the back)
It’s possible that there are different versions of the ID:CORE 10 V2 amp that require different power supplies. You can reference this post where the 10V / 3A power supply is for the ID:CORE 20 and that Blackstar decided to use the same power supply for both amps to avoid having different power supplies. viewtopic.php?t=4190-GF- wrote: ↑Wed Sep 15, 2021 5:52 pm
