Hi Everyone,

Had my BEAM for a couple of weeks and find it very good, for the size.
All the patches sound great but the acoustic patches are very quiet.
I've tried a couple of acoustics, all with active PUPs.
Volume set to max (including tweaking through Insider).

I know it is a long shot but has anyone got any suggestions ?

Cheers,
John

I have the same problem. I use the amp to play jazz with bass and drums, for both jazz guitar and nylon-string acoustic. The only solution I've found is to use the first electric guitar channel for both.

I'm having that issue in spades - I have acoustics with active and passive pickups, and the ones without an active preamp are quite low in volume comparatively. I have pretty much solved that issue, however, by using a Tech 21 RK5 pedal as a preamp. The "SansAmp" section allows a lot more flexibility on multi-band tone adjustment and at the same time allows me to easily adjust the level. This has worked really well for me, particularly because I'm using the amp right now with both acoustics and electrics. I will be travelling to a wedding at the end of the month, and the little Beam along with the RK5 are no more than a handful, and don't take up too much room in the car trunk.
