Hello Folks
I love how this mini Amp fly 3w sounds , the quality in all its variations , the articulation ,the power for such a small size.
-Which bigger amp models would sound the same?
-has anyone come up with a solution to make this little bugger go big ? bigger sound on bigger speakers? while keeping the same sound
-the 103 extension , is it worth buying ?
Regards
Making FLY 3w bigger
Well, you could do what I did: get the ID Core 10, which is similar to Fly with growth hormones. Extension speaker does add lots of space and perceived loudness greater than the sum, but for about the same money can get the ID Core which has lots more effects and models. I have the 10 for playing in condo and Fly 3 for when I head to the beach.
Thank you guys
I guess i'm going be shopping for a bigger amp
Going through the HT series .. i tried 5w stack and combo
20w studio combo
I'm impressed the power they produced
there's much gain
but i didn't feel any orgasm within the clean channel
and soon ill try the club 40 Vintage pro

I got another amp , not a blackstar
In one experiment , i made it a slave for the blackstar via fx loop (return )
so guitar input to blackstar fly- line output/phone ---connector for guitar jack -Bigger amp(return )
I could get it now as loud as i want but there's a charm in the fly's little speaker that i missed
Also making a tiny amp loud results in a loud thin sound
