FLY 3 BASS, Line-in & Phone out jacks, poor connection

I found that some of my 1/8" plugs stay connected, and others pop out. The headphone jack seems particularly problematic. These plugs work just fine on all my other equipment.
By eye-ball, all the plugs look identical. Using a micrometer, I found that some plugs were 0.1mm shorter.
Such a tiny difference should not matter, but these jacks are so marginal that they don't engage properly.
From a subjective view, I would also add that these jacks feel very cheap. You can feel the internal contacts scraping when you insert a plug.
Has anyone else noticed bad connections with their Line-in or Phone jack?
