Fly 3 Charge not charging?

I have a brand new Fly 3 Charge and am loving it.
But I think there might be some problem, because if I connect a USB-C cable to the charging port (powered on the other end), nothing happens, no lights, no nothing.

if I turn the power-on with the cable connected I get a blinking LED by the charging slot - which would mean battery low.... but according to the manual, if the battery is charging I should get a SOLID LED, which I don't get.
If I simply disconnect the USB-C cable and leave power on, the LED is still flashing, which would seem to indicate it is NOT charging at all.

So this means I will soon run out of gas?
Any hopes here?

PS the PDF manual available at the website doesn't even mention the Charge model, only the previous regular battery-powered models...

I think I got this fixed, changed the usb cable power adapter's edge from usb-c to regular usb, might have to do with the voltage or something.
Charging working perfectly now.

Could you tell me how long it takes to charge - from the red flashing battery-low LED, to the LED-off when it's fully charged?
