Hi everyone.
I have recently become the proud owner of a small but mighty HT1 R "Metal" head. I fancied joining the darkside going from SS to valve. My previous amp was an ID TVP 260.

I like the idea of being able to see the valves glowing so I removed the wooden block from behind the front grill.

Question, will this affect airflow or performance (as it wasn't designed this way)?

Its a bit more cooling,thats good for it,as to the sound? let us know :idea:
