Ok, I thought it could be interesting to know a little about all you Blackstar users. So were are you from? What music do you play, and for how long have you played? Do you play in a band or just for your self?
I live in a small town in the south of Sweden called Hässleholm. I have played guitar for at least 25 years and I play in two bands, one coverband called Cliff and the Kidneystones and one hardrock/heavymetal band called Confirmed SiCK, that just got started. The coverband plays a lot of pop from the seventies and the eighties.
Now it´s your turn!

I'm Stephen, 30, from Canberra, Australia.
I play predominately heavier stuff, punk, rock, metal, etc. Also dig the blues.
I'm currently working on writing music with another guy. Progressive punk is what I'd call it I guess.

I'm Robin, 17years old,and i've been playing for .. +-5 years, it's coming along nicely first couple of years self-taught and then a few years of lessons to shape up my techniques and scalework
I'm seated in a small town "Brasschaat" located in antwerp, in Belgium
I play lot's o' genres, i try every genre from technical deathmetal to softrock
I play in a thrash/death metal band called warbeast Click for for myspace
we've been around for almost 2years, recorded a demo, actually we made a lot of progress in the 1year and a half we're playing
I started playing guitar because i thought the song " i'll be there for you" by the rembrants was awesome, and i wanted to play it. so many years later i still didn't take a look on how to play it :') acdc, guns n' roses and blacksabbath were more my stuff in the beginning
And from the blackstar point of view:
I first encountered blackstar in a guitarmagazine where they did a review of the artisan series. there i read something about blackstar being owned by a former marshall-crewmember (?) don't know if it was true, but a brand that has the same name as my favorite Carcass song surely got my interest
Later i ended up buying S1 straight cab. Awesome stuff!
That's all i can think of right now
Cheers!
