New member seeking guidance
I’m in the process of installing a 3+3watt Fly into an Ovation Applause Strat.
This is my second such project, the first being upgrading a Squier mini with an Orange micro crush amp, which turned out pretty good considering it’s essentially a kids guitar.
Attached is the concept picture for the current project..
What I’m looking for is wiring diagrams to help with reassembly.
I took pics during disassembly and I had to desolder a few pieces.
During the concept stage some of the ribbon wires broke and while I can review the pics to redo/rewire, having wiring diagrams would save hours of work.
If anyone can point me in the right direction it would be greatly appreciated.
It’s coming along quite well since the concept photo and I would hate to solder a wire wrong and ruin it.
Best Regards All.
Thanks for asking, yeah the white on white looks washed out in the photo.
3 Lace sensor Blue/Silver/Red Pups
Main Pot concentric master tone/vol does all 3
5 way switch is where the strat output went, output jack relocated to the side. Can also plug into regular amp.
These function as per normal.
Installed Amp is a Blackstar Fly 3+3watt Stereo Battery amp with 2 x 3" speakers.
6 x AA Batteries are under the trem cover. Trem is blocked solid.
Controls are Gain, Volume, Equaliser/Tonal shaper, Delay level & time, Overdrive.
She sounds sooooo sweet on her own.
The O/D can squeal on full noise but easy enough to dial it back a bit.
Very pleased with this little creation
