power amp saturation doesent't exist on ht40 mkll??

I've had this amp for almost three years, and I love it.
I almost never use the clean channel, but yesterday I wanted to hear the tone of a clean channel with the power amp to the maximum.
so i select the clean channel with voice one(the cleanest one) and set the channel volume to 5, and the master volume to 8! but the sound was still completely clean, I raised the master volume to 10!! and the sound was still completely clean.
my logic was to have zero pre amp saturation and full power amp saturation.
