Long-time Blackstar bedroom rocker here (and sometimes small gigs), you guys make my favourite sounding amps and I revere your company philosophy. I absolutely love Blackstars to bits and I'm very excited about my next purchase of a 10w but I have a quick, albeit important (to me) question:

Are there any non-cosmetic differences between the 10th Anniversary (which can still be found brand new from certain stores here in the States) and the new Studio 10 series?

I ask only because if they are indeed the same electronics and hence are tonally the same, then that would be awesome to have two cosmetic options to choose from the three types - they are all georgous looking btw :)

If there is a difference in the electronics and hence the tone is slightly different/updated somehow, then I (and I imagine some others) would very much benefit to know what that difference might be, in order to make a more informed decision.

From what I can tell doing as much homework as possible from your online recources, the differences are only cosmetic, which is great!

I appreciate any clarifications given before I go out and buy one - or all three - or all six!

Sincerely
Minos

For anyone interested, I've just received confirmation from a Blackstar product specialist that they are indeed the same amp, just cosmetically different.

Cheers
