Dept 10 Dual Drive - USB Connection

The leaflet/manual says: "4. USB Audio Output Plug a USB cable in here to connect the amplifier to a Windows PC or Mac. The amplifier will appear on a personal computer as an audio capture device within recording software."
I've connected my PC but when I load Cakewalk I can't see any sign of the Studio 10. Is anyone successfully using the pedal via USB in Cakewalk? Thanks!
