HT20 mkii Mids pot half working?

Has anyone noticed something weird with the mid eq on the ht20mkii combo? On my amp, if the eq is all on zero and i turn only the mids to 10, there is no difference in the sound. The same is not true for the bass and trebble. Only if there is bass or highs, then the mid will have an effect, but only in some sort of presence.
Any insight, or knowledge concerning this issue?
