I've been using my new ID core with architect software for a few weeks now and have been fooling around with making my own tones and such.

My problem is, I don't know how to get the sounds/tones I'm aiming for.

I'd love to replace the presets with my own sounds. Ex: a clean Mayer tone, a clean Hendrix tone, a van Halen/Crue tone, stuff like that.

How do you all build your tones? Do you aim for exactly what the recorded sound is? Is there a pedal/effect you ALWAYS have in your lineup?

I guess this post kinda switched from a "help with Blackstar architect" to a "how do you make your tone" thread lol these lockdown are messing with my head haha

For Mayer/Hendrix tones, focus on mids and treble. For Van Halen/Crue, crank the gain and add a bit of chorus. I always keep a reverb pedal in the mix for depth.
