Will Architect do firmware updates on a ID Core 100?

I'm considering getting an ID Core 100. (I have an ID Core 40 V3) Will I also need to need to install Insider, or will Architect fill all my needs.

I purchased an IDCORE 100 combo amp and the Architect Software I downloaded for my IDCORE 40 V3 seems to work with it just fine. I'm assuming any firmware updates will be added. The Cab Sim feature doesn't show up, which I expected. Are there any plans to add that for legacy products in the future? Does anyone know if the old insider software will enable anything that Architect doesn't?
