Anyone figure out how to use ID:Core interface w/ Dept 10 pedals?

I own a Dept 10 Dual Distortion, which sounds pretty great (especially after fine tuning it w/ the Architect software and going through the CabRig output).
However, the damn thing is suuuuuuuuuper noisy (even with an ISP Decimator after it).
I saw that the ID Core interface has a noise gate built in. Anyone figure out a way to unlock this feature for when you're just hooked up to the pedal (I believe the software auto-detects the product)? But there must be a way to bypass that, right...?
I feel like this would be like the "sneaky amps" hack Katana owners went nuts over a few years ago...
