HT-Delay in effects loop question
I am running a Peavey 5150 amp and I am looking at a high quality delay. In general, delay effects should be in the amplifier effects loop so the actual sound of guitar is being regenerated for the delay. With the saturation effect of the valve, the manual indicates that this is designed to only work with guitar level inputs (-10db). What does this mean for running this pedal in the effects loop? The 5150 has tube stages on both sides of the effects loop; so wouldn't this just add extra saturation to the signal? Or will the valve in the HT-Delay be overdriven and sound poor? Thanks.

As long as you use the pedal in signal paths running at -10dB, you'll be fine. Most equipment that can run at +4dB is usually switchable to -10dB.
